The Agusta MH-68A Stingray was a special version of the Hirundo utility helicopter modified for the U.S. Coast Guard.

Stingray helicopters operated from a USCG base in Florida patrolling the off shore waters, primarily watching for drug smuggling.

The MH-68A was equipped with a .32 cal. machine gun, a long range .50 cal. rifle, high intensity searchlight, Forward Looking Infrared imaging, flotation for ditching into the sea, and a personnel hoist.

Eight MH-68A helicopters operated from 2000 through 2008.
